Work With Me

A Straightforward Way to Build Something Your Customers Will Love

You have a business that depends on repeat customers — families coming back to your attraction, dog owners rebooking their daycare, visitors returning to your venue. However, somewhere between the first visit and the next booking, you are losing them.

Let's Talk →

I help experience-based small businesses in the UK solve that problem with custom digital tools: interactive trails, retention systems, customer journey redesigns, and engagement platforms built specifically for your business and your customers.

This page explains how the process works, what to expect, and how to get started.

What Working Together Looks Like

I work directly with business owners — no agency layers, no account managers sitting between us. You will always speak to the person doing the design and development work. This matters because the best solutions come from understanding your business deeply, not from passing a brief through three pairs of hands.

1

Discovery Call

We start with a conversation. I want to understand your business, your customers, and the specific challenge you are trying to solve. This is not a sales pitch — it is a genuine exploration of whether a digital solution is the right fit for your situation.

In this call, we typically cover:

  • What your customer journey looks like today
  • Where you are losing repeat customers or missing engagement opportunities
  • What you have already tried and what has or has not worked
  • What success would look like for you in practical terms

This call is free and there is no obligation to proceed. If I do not think I can help, I will tell you honestly.

2

Scoping and Proposal

If we agree there is a good fit, I put together a clear proposal. This includes exactly what I will build, how it will work for your customers, a realistic timeline, and a fixed project fee.

There are no hidden costs or vague estimates. You know what you are getting and what it will cost before you commit to anything.

3

Design and Prototyping

Before writing a line of code, I design the solution with you. You will see wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes. We test these with your actual customer scenarios — not theoretical ones — so we catch problems early when they are cheap to fix.

This stage is collaborative. Your knowledge of your customers combined with my experience in digital experience design produces better results than either of us working alone.

4

Build and Testing

Once the design is approved, I build the finished product. I test thoroughly — not just for bugs, but for usability. Does it actually work the way your customers expect? Is it intuitive on a mobile phone in a muddy field or a busy daycare reception?

You get regular progress updates throughout this stage, with opportunities to review and provide feedback before launch.

5

Launch and Grow

After launch, I monitor performance and help you understand what the data tells you. We look at the metrics that matter to your business — repeat visit rates, booking frequency, engagement depth — rather than vanity numbers.

I also provide a support period after launch, because the first few weeks with real customers always reveal refinements worth making.

What I Typically Build

Every project is different, but these are the kinds of solutions I create most often:

For Visitor Attractions and Family Venues

For Dog Daycares and Pet Services

For Experience-Based Businesses Generally

Thinking about your own project?

The initial conversation is free and there is no obligation. If a digital tool is not the right fit for your business, I will tell you honestly.

What This Costs

I charge fixed project fees, not hourly rates. The total cost depends on the scope and complexity of what we build together. I will always give you a clear number before you commit.

As a rough guide, most projects fall between £2,000 and £8,000. Smaller, focused tools sit at the lower end. Larger interactive experiences or multi-component systems sit higher.

If budget is a concern, I will be honest about what is achievable within your range. There is no pressure to spend more than makes sense for your business.

What My Clients Value

The businesses I work with consistently mention three things:

I have worked with family attractions, visitor centres, educational platforms, and experience-based brands across the UK. You can see examples of my work on the case studies page.

Ready to Have a Conversation?

If you run an experience-based business and you are thinking about how digital tools could help you keep more customers coming back, I would genuinely like to hear from you. The initial conversation is free, there is no obligation, and if I am not the right fit, I will tell you.
